Astoria Wall Systems

The Astoria modular retail wall system is a configurable wall display solution for boutiques, apparel stores, and specialty retailers. Available in both wall-mounted and freestanding versions, the system comes in 2' and 4' module widths that connect together to cover any wall length. Accessories include hangbars, faceouts, hooks, retail wall shelving, back panels, sign headers, and sign frames — everything needed to build a complete merchandising wall from scratch or expand an existing display section. Browse the full Astoria Fixture Collection for all compatible floor fixtures and racks. Learn more about modular retail display systems and how they are used in store design.

A modular wall display system gives retailers the flexibility to reconfigure the wall as the store evolves — move sections, add modules, swap accessories, and update the display without tearing out fixed shelving or starting over. Modular display systems have become a preferred choice for retailers because they maximize space utilization while making store layouts easy to update as merchandising needs change. The Astoria system delivers this flexibility in a coordinated finish that matches the Astoria 2-way, 3-way, and 4-way floor racks for a fully integrated store environment. Wall-Mounted or Freestanding | Two Ways to Install

Wall-Mounted Version — The Astoria Modular 2' and 4' Retail Wall Systems mount directly to the store wall using Astoria Wall Cleats (sold separately as a 3-pack). The wall cleats attach to the wall studs and the modular unit clips onto them — no permanent drilling into the upright frames. This makes wall-mounted installation reversible and leaves the wall surface intact if the system is ever removed or relocated.

Freestanding Version — The freestanding Starter Unit includes the base and one end upright. Add-on Units connect to the starter to extend the run. End Cap units close off the open end of a freestanding run for a finished look on both sides. Cross braces (sold separately as a 2-pack) reinforce longer runs for stability. The freestanding version is ideal when wall mounting is not possible — in leased spaces, pop-up environments, or positions away from the perimeter wall.

Retail Wall Display System Accessories

Every Astoria wall system module uses the same upright slot system as the Astoria floor fixtures. Hangbars, faceouts, hooks, and shelf brackets mount at any height without additional hardware. Available accessories for this retail wall display system include:

Hangbars (24" and 48") — Run hanging garments at any height along the wall. Compatible with all standard hangers.

Back Panels — Decorative panels that fill the back of the wall unit for a finished, boutique-quality appearance. Available in coordinating finishes.

Sign Headers — Horizontal sign holders that mount across the top of the unit to display category labels or promotional messaging.

24"x24" Sign Frame — Large format sign frame for displaying brand imagery, promotional graphics, or collection callouts within the wall system.

Cross Braces (2-pack) — Structural braces for freestanding runs to maintain rigidity across longer installations.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the wall-mounted and freestanding Astoria wall system?

The wall-mounted version attaches to the store wall using wall cleats — it requires wall access and stud mounting but takes up no floor space beyond the wall itself. The freestanding version stands on its own base and can be positioned anywhere on the floor without wall mounting. Both use the same module components and accept the same accessories.

Can I start with one module and expand the Astoria modular retail wall system later?

Yes. Start with a 2' or 4' starter unit and add on additional modules as your floor layout evolves. Add-on units connect directly to the starter unit. For freestanding runs, add cross braces for stability as the run extends. All modules share the same upright slot system so accessories are fully interchangeable across the entire installation.
