The Cable Shelving Unit for 3 Wood Shelves Extension is a ceiling-to-floor cable display extension that adds a further 36-inch section of floating wood shelving with three shelf positions to an existing cable shelving base unit. It reaches heights up to 19 feet, accommodating shelves up to 36 inches long in depths from 8" to 16". Wood shelves are sold separately. The system is finished in Satin Chrome stainless steel. Please note — this unit works in conjunction with a base unit and cannot be used as a standalone display. Retailers expanding a warm wood cable shelving installation with additional floating shelf sections consistently choose this three-shelf wood extension unit.
Why retailers choose the Cable Shelving Unit 3 Wood Shelves Hanging Display Extension to grow a wood cable display
A wood cable shelving base unit establishes a warm, natural floating display environment. However, a single section rarely covers the full display space a growing product range requires. Because this extension adds three more floating wood shelf positions across an additional 36-inch section, it widens the overall display while maintaining the same warm wood surface aesthetic throughout. Furthermore, wood shelves in the extension section match the base unit visually — the natural material tone repeats consistently across the full expanded width, creating a seamless display that reads as one unified installation. As a result, the expanded display looks intentional and well-considered rather than a piecemeal build. In addition, the Satin Chrome stainless steel cables match base unit hardware exactly. Wood shelves sold separately accommodate the same 8"–16" depth range as the base unit.
Lifestyle boutiques and homewear retailers who started with a single wood cable shelving base unit and need more wall coverage find this extension the natural next step. Moreover, fashion stores expanding a warm floating shelf display into a wider wall zone and specialty brands building a wider natural material display environment also rely on it. Consequently, it suits any wood cable shelving installation where additional floating shelf sections are needed to cover more wall width. Please note — requires a compatible cable shelving base unit. Wood shelves sold separately. Compatible shelf length: up to 36". Depth: 8"–16". Material: stainless steel, Satin Chrome finish.
