Modern slatwall accessories share the same core functions as standard slatwall hardware — hooks, faceouts, waterfalls, and straight arms that mount to standard slatwall grooves without tools. The difference is in the profile and finish. Modern accessories use updated, smoother profiles and are available in chrome and silver frost — a timeless brushed metallic finish that standard chrome accessories do not offer. Consequently, these suit contemporary boutiques and lifestyle retail environments where standard wire accessories read as too utilitarian against the slatwall surface.

Chrome and Silver Frost: Two Finishes for Contemporary Retail

Standard chrome is bright and reflective — the most common finish across retail display hardware worldwide. Silver frost takes the same metallic character and applies a brushed, lower-sheen surface. The result is a quieter metallic finish that suits contemporary retail environments where a fully reflective chrome accessory would draw the eye to the hardware rather than the merchandise. Furthermore, silver frost pairs naturally with brushed metal fixtures, matte metallic surfaces, and any store interior where a slightly softer metallic tone creates a more refined display aesthetic than standard chrome.

Six Modern Accessories: Updated Profiles for Every Display Function

The two-tier slatwall hook presents two products at two heights from a single groove position — doubling the display capacity of a standard single hook. The modern slatwall hook set covers multiple lengths in the updated profile. Two-tier tube faceouts add a second display arm below the primary faceout arm. The straight arm provides a clean single-arm faceout position in the modern profile. Wire faceouts deliver a lightweight minimal arm option. Additionally, the waterfall with square holes combines stepped cascade display with pegboard-compatible hook positions through the body — the same dual-display format available in the standard faceouts collection, in the modern profile and finish.

All six accessories mount to standard 3" on-center slatwall grooves. Height adjusts instantly at any panel position without tools. For more on modern slatwall accessory use in retail display, see the Wikipedia overview on visual merchandising.
