How Does a Waterfall with Square Holes Work?
A standard waterfall holds items at each stepped hook position only. This modern waterfall square holes version adds a second display type. Square holes punched through the waterfall body accept pegboard-compatible square-shank wire hooks at every hole position. Load items onto the cascade hooks for hanging bags and accessories. Insert wire hooks into the square holes for blister-packed goods and packaged accessories. Both display types work from the same slatwall groove position at the same time.
That dual-display capacity makes this waterfall the highest-density slatwall accessory in the modern collection. A standard modern hook covers one groove position for one product type. This waterfall covers one groove position for two product types — cascading hanging items and pegboard-style packaged goods simultaneously. Modern Profile vs Standard Square Holes Waterfall
A square holes waterfall also appears in the faceouts section of this site. That version is a standard profile accessory available in multiple finishes. This modern waterfall square holes version uses the updated modern profile and comes in chrome and silver frost only. The square hole function is identical on both. The profile and finish options are the distinguishing variables.
Choose the faceouts section version when black or white finish is needed. Choose this modern version when chrome or silver frost matches the store's accessory palette — particularly in contemporary boutiques where the modern profile integrates with the other modern accessories on the same slatwall installation.
Frequently Asked Questions
What hooks fit the square holes on this waterfall?
Pegboard-compatible square-shank wire hooks fit the square holes. These are widely available from US retail display suppliers — the same hooks used on standard pegboard panels. The square shank shape is the key detail. Round peg hooks do not fit square holes. Check the shank shape on any existing hooks before ordering to confirm they match the square hole format.
How is this different from the waterfall square holes in the faceouts section?
Both have square holes through the waterfall body and accept the same pegboard-compatible hooks. The profile and finish options differ. The faceouts section version comes in multiple finishes including black and white. This modern version comes in chrome and silver frost only, with the updated modern profile that matches the other modern accessories in this collection. Choose based on which finish matches the store's existing slatwall accessory palette.
Does this fit standard slatwall panels?
Yes. This modern waterfall mounts to any standard slatwall panel using the industry-standard 3" on-center groove spacing. No tools required. Confirm the panel uses standard 3" groove spacing if the slatwall source is non-standard or imported.
