Hangrails are used with many different wall systems, i.e., slatwall, outriggers, gridwall, and wall mounted brackets. The most popular hangrails are made from rectangular tubing but can also be constructed from square or round tubing.

The idea behind hangrails is to fit a high volume of "shoulder out" apparel. There are also "saddle" faceouts that can be used as well to display the front of a few garments.

We recommend that in the slatwall application of hangrails that you use only slatwall with metal inserts, otherwise the weight of the bars and merchandise may pull out of the slatwall. Most designers will always recommend metal inserts for any slatwall.
