This 6 inch wire basket is a wall-mounted open-front display basket measuring 24 inches wide by 12 inches deep by 6 inches high. It mounts on slatwall and gridwall panels and is available in black and chrome. The 6-inch height gives it more fill capacity than the 4-inch shallow basket — suited to bulkier merchandise or higher-volume bulk display positions on a retail wall.

6 Inch Wire Basket | More Fill Capacity Than the 4-Inch Version
The 4-inch shallow basket in this lineup suits light merchandise and neat face-forward arrangements. This 6-inch version, however, adds two inches of basket height — enough extra capacity to hold bulkier merchandise, taller packaged goods, and higher fill quantities before the basket needs restocking. That extra height matters in high-traffic positions where a shallower basket empties quickly during peak hours. Furthermore, the taller side walls keep merchandise from spilling over the edge when the basket is fully loaded — a practical advantage in dump-bin style bulk displays where shoppers sort through product freely.
Black and Chrome | Two Finish Options
Black suits dark-finish slatwall and gridwall panel environments. Chrome suits standard chrome gridwall systems and bright contemporary retail environments. Unlike the 4-inch shallow basket, this version is not available in white — so stores running white panel systems should consider the 4-inch model instead. Matching the basket finish to adjacent panel accessories keeps the wall display visually consistent. A chrome basket on a black panel system, or vice versa, draws attention to the hardware rather than the merchandise inside it.
Open Wire Construction | Visibility on Slatwall and Gridwall
Open wire sides let shoppers see basket contents from multiple angles. This is especially useful for colorful merchandise, seasonal items, and accessories where the product itself is the visual trigger for an impulse purchase. The wire profile also keeps the basket visually lightweight on the panel. At 24 inches wide and 6 inches tall, this basket takes up a meaningful panel position — the open wire ensures it does not read as a visual block that disrupts the surrounding display layout. According to Wikipedia's overview of visual merchandising, open-front containers increase shopper interaction with merchandise by removing the physical and visual barrier of solid-sided display bins.
