Seven Feet of Wall Coverage
Seven feet of panel height exceeds the standard 6-foot retail wall height used in many boutiques and specialty stores. This makes the 2x7 slatgrid panel the right choice when ceiling height allows for a taller installation. The extra foot above the 2x6 slatgrid panel gives you additional accessory rows at the top. Use this space for overhead signage brackets, top-row hooks for seasonal items, or a hangrail positioned above standard eye level to maximize the full wall from floor to ceiling.
Each panel uses 1/4-inch welded steel wire with a double horizontal wire pattern spaced 3 inches on center. This matches the standard spacing across both slatwall and gridwall systems, so all accessories from either system attach directly without modification.
Best Uses for the 2x7 Slatgrid Panel
The 2x7 size works best in high-ceiling retail stores, trade show booths, convention center displays, and showrooms where a taller wall panel fills the available vertical space. It also suits permanent perimeter wall installations in larger retail formats such as sporting goods stores, outdoor retailers, and department store sections. Panels are sold in boxes of 3, 6, or 9. Chrome is available at an upcharge. Browse the full slatgrid panels collection to compare all sizes. For a freight quote or bulk order, call (800) 420-1457 today.
Frequently Asked Questions
How tall is the 2x7 slatgrid panel?
This panel stands 7 feet tall and 2 feet wide. It is the tallest 2-foot-wide panel in the slatgrid range and is designed for high-ceiling environments where a 6-foot panel would not reach the full wall height.
Does this panel ship via UPS or freight?
This panel ships via freight truck. The 2x4 and 2x5 sizes ship via standard UPS. All panels 6 feet and taller ship via freight. Call (800) 420-1457 for a freight quote before ordering.
Can I use this panel for a trade show display?
Yes. The 7-foot height fills a full display wall at most trade show and convention center booths. All three finish colors work well in trade show environments. The panels store flat when not in use for easy transport and storage between events.
