2x8 Slatgrid Panel
The 2x8 slatgrid panel measures 2 feet wide by 8 feet tall. This is the tallest size in the 2-foot-wide slatgrid range. At 8 feet, it matches the standard ceiling height found in most US commercial retail buildings. A single 2x8 panel fills the wall from floor to ceiling without requiring panels to be stacked. It ships via freight and is available in black, white, and chrome.

Full 8 Foot Height for Standard Ceilings
Standard US commercial ceilings measure 8 feet. A 2x8 slatgrid panel fills this height exactly, giving you the maximum possible accessory surface on a single panel. There are no gaps between the panel top and the ceiling, and no need for a second panel stacked above. This makes the 2x8 the most efficient size for standard retail wall bays where full vertical coverage is the goal. Use the full 8 feet for a layered display: hangrails at the top for hanging garments, slatwall shelves in the middle for folded goods, and hooks or baskets at the lower rows for accessories and packaged items.
What to Consider Before Ordering the 2x8 Slatgrid Panel
Each panel uses 1/4-inch welded steel wire with a double horizontal wire pattern spaced 3 inches on center. All slatwall and gridwall accessories attach directly without modification. The 2x8 ships via freight truck and requires freight delivery planning before ordering. Panels are sold in boxes of 3, 6, or 9. Chrome is available at an upcharge above the black and white price. Mount using standard gridwall wall mount brackets. Browse the full slatgrid panels collection to compare all sizes, or see the 2x7 slatgrid panel for high-ceiling environments. What is the chrome upcharge on the 2x8 size?
Chrome is available at an upcharge above the black and white price. The chrome upcharge on the 2x8 is the highest in the slatgrid range due to the panel size. Call (800) 420-1457 for exact pricing before ordering.
